Saturday Fredonia overpowered visiting Cortland State in route to 3-1 victory . The Blue Devils dominated the first half of play going into the locker room with 2-0 lead. The first goal of the game was scored by Tyler Williams on penalty kick after Matt Grabowski drew the foul in the box. Ryan Smith tallied the second goal of the game on a rebound off Gabe Esposito's header. After Cortland got on the board Fredonia quickly responded with a Gabe Esposito goal of his own. Once again it was Grabowski's work down the right side that caused the goal. The Blue Devils stand at 3-2 in the SUNYAC conference and 10-4 overall. They travel to Plattsburgh and Potsdam next weekend.
