Fredonia State women's volleyball athletes Lindsey Olson, Hannah Manning, Heather Cooper and Lauren O’Hara along with four volleyball recruits worked with the Special Olympics athletes at Lucky Lanes in Fredonia, NY on January 27th. Additionally, men's soccer players Chase Lipshie, Joe Pagano, Jake Persons, Brandon Napieralski, Josh Best, Dino Salkic and Tyler Williams interacted with the kids while they bowled. Fun was had by all. The teams will again be on hand February 10th for another bowling event. This begins what Fredonia State Athletics hopes will be a long standing relationship between Western NY Special Olympics and the FSU athletic teams. Below is a video of the highlights.
