Fredonia to Brooklyn, Q & A with Max Prosser

In the fall of 2015 Maximillian Prosser was entering his final season as a midfielder on the Fredonia Men's Soccer Team.  Now, just three months after his final game versus Hobart on October 27th, Max finds himself living in Brooklyn, NY and working at marketing firm called Brightedge as an Enterprise Business Representative.  Here is what he had to say about the move.

CPJG: Less than three months ago you were playing college soccer and finishing up your degree in Fredonia and now you have moved to Brooklyn and secured your first job.  How does that feel?

MP: It feels great.  I had an awesome time playing the sport I love with a great group of guys but I also felt it was time to move on to the next big step in my life.  It was really gratifying to see the hard work I put in in school and my search for the right career pay off.

CPJG: You got the second highest GPA on our team this semester.  Did that help?

MP: I am sure it didn't hurt but I think my experience with internships was a big factor.

CPJG: How did your education prepare you for the work you are doing?

MP: My major of marketing prepared me very well.

CPJG: How did you being a student-athlete prepare, help obtain and allow you to be successful in your field?

MP: It taught me how to manage my time by being able play, take classes and find a job while keeping a social life.  Sales is driven by competitiveness and drive that's something that sports has taught me throughout my years.

CPJG: Good luck to you Max!
